big problems tonight for muni in san francisco. woman in a wheelchair was hit by a trolley at market and church street. we are told she either leaned over or fell in front of the trolley. witness say the trolley kept going dragging the woman for almost a block. emergency crew had to use air bag and wooden block in order to raise that trolley. that's what you see the firefighters rescue crew doing there. sadly the woman has suffered life threatening injuries, we believe. but we are checking on that of course. now to a separate incident. blown transformer has shut down all metro muni lines downtown. that's the k, l and j lines. bus bridges in effect to get people around. very bad night for muni. we have more open both of these stories on 7 news leather:00 over on channel 7 and of course updates here as need be. >>> well now to the weather. much of the bay area continues to dry out and clean up after trio of storms. the sky 7 hd video shows some of the toppled trees around san francisco. in other parts of the city in the area there ha

right now we have 59 in san rafael. 58, san francisco. 60, san jose. we had some very strong winds, as i mentioned at the top of the show, gusts close to 60, 66 miles-per-hour. the winds now shifted to the west northwest and have definitely calmed down. westerly at sfo, 10 miles-per-hour right now. here is a look at our forecast. kind of have to plan your upcoming work week. it will be clearing and much cooler overnight. we do get a dry day tomorrow and then more rain will move in by mid-week....

this is a starting point for working in san francisco. we could have probably done more analysis of the terrain that we're working in terms to identify those black holes for cops, those black areas. so we learned a lot. i think a lot of this has been captured in the afteraction and i think if we have another iteration next year to definitely have a good starting point. >> we brought from the california national guard, we brought our quick reaction area force and we brought our ic for you so we had 3 different com spans that are cross banded, which is an opportunity that not all dod assets have. they have civilian internet and that is their primary mission, is to cross band between the military and civilians. it worked very well because the command and control element were on an ip common operating picture. some of our challenges were the radio communications. we got cross banded with san francisco but bringing in commercial satellite down to the marine force that would be on the ground was one of the challenges that we had to work through
